Located in Chicago’s historic Gold Coast, The Archer is a boutique multi-family housing renovation that seamlessly blends vintage architecture with modern design. The building was initially built as a hotel in 1929, converted into apartments in 1980. As a result, it featured distinctive architectural details. ML Group was engaged to lead a comprehensive renovation, providing architecture, interior design, and construction management to elevate both the residences and shared spaces. The transformation included 64 renovated apartments and 4,500 square feet of communal space—including a lounge, library, gym, and a rooftop deck—redefining The Archer as a sought-after destination for contemporary city living.
